Salsa Rhythm App Reviews

For anyone wanting insight or clarification regarding Salsa performance basics. You can use it for practice or to clear up any pre conceived notions. I would like to see this evolve into a drum machine that use samples of real players doing the same thing with the exact same simple user interface. Most drum machines are much too complicated.. This is great!

This app is great for practicing your timing, footwork and working on musicality. I love how you can hear as many or few instruments as you like,have the instructor count for you, and and adjust the tempo.

This aplicaction was exactly what I was looking for .thank you.why not make one for merengue..I will like it more if I could control the volume on each of them.

Using this app really helps to hear any of the instruments used in salsa songs with the option of taking any out. This helps to hear the music in the simplest form. I still go back to this app so I dont forget all of the elements that make up the beat.

Very good app to isolate instruments & try to understand this complex music.. Just when I thought I had it. It is hard for a newbie to salsa to understand 3/2 or if you are in 2/3. Love the animations & ability to pick what you want to hear. Well done

Very fun application

After mulling through numerous crappy apps on anything latin rhythm related, I almost gave up. Thank Goodness! I came across this app - it is everything I need to help my students better understand all the layers of latin rhythms and melidies. The ability to add/subtract instruments, control tempo, and the must-have library of rhythms is outstanding. Thank you to the producers and programmers for bringing something of good use and great value to bring music closer to the people.

Lifesaver for the rhythmically challenged, like myself. In addition to using it for drills, breaking down moves, and figuring out what isnt quite right on the dance floor, I also use the clave to keep tempo when I go running. Wicked pace!

I love it! All it needs is more conga patterns and an iPad version.

as a professional musician/composer, Im always checking out music apps to spark fresh ideas. this app is in my heavy rotation pile. two suggestions: I could really use an optional click track. and Id to be able to have several voices to choose from - cuz I spend alot o time listening to this guy counting!! thank you. great app.

The perfect percussion practice companion. Fantastic app! The only thing I would change/add is to allow the user to adjust the volume on each instrument individually so i can de-emphasize some (like the cowbell) and emphasize others (like the clave). Hope to see that in the update. Otherwise, its phenomenal! Monte

Great app but nobody plays music in G# or D# or A# (thats 8, 9, and 10 sharps!), and not often in F# or C# (6 and 7 sharps) either. Spell your keys with flats instead: C, Db, D, Eb, E, F, Gb, G, Ab, A, Bb, B. Musicians will like you better!

This app is not good It doesnt work at all I want a refund

Great app. Well worth the low cost. Use often to exercise chord progressions on guitar. I have recommended to many friends and students. Love to see a samba app like this.

Great app but if you make high quality of sounds and add Solo of instruments and volume of different instrument its will be great :) at all thx for this gr8 app.
